Choose one genre we've explored this year and create a 5 page (Times New Roman, 12pt, double spaced, 1" margins) piece of your choice. If you choose poems, you need to create 5 poems. This is an effort grade so just do your best!

Write a 2-3 page (Times New Roman, double spaced, 1" margins) fictional short story. It can be any genre you'd like so long as it's fiction.

Write a 2 page nonfiction story about something that's happened in your life. You don't need to share anything you're not comfortable with; remember how funny the nano-pup story was? Include details and think about other elements we noticed in The Moth stories such as hyperbole, timing, imagery, and tone. Stick to times new roman font, 12 point, double spaced.

Write 15-20 sentences about which Moth story was your favorite and why.

Use the copies of your classmates anonymous sonnets to create original blackout or found poems. You may use scissors/glue or markers to create a poem you submit a picture of or you can simply copy out the lines in a document.

Write an original Shakespearian sonnet to the best of your abilities. Remember, everything in creative writing is an effort grade, so just do your best.
